A search warrant was made on April 25th, 2007 for a drug investigation of Michael Vick's cousin which led them o discover evidence of unlawful dog fighting activities on Vick's property. Then in July 2007 Vick and three others were charged by federal authorities with felony charges of operating an unlawful interstate dog fighting. The convictions on August 27th Vick pleaded guilty. Free on bail he tested positive for marijuana in a random drug test. The judge told him to serve 23 months in federal prison.
